Update your grantmaking profile!
Since 1986, the AGM Grantmaker Directory has offered grant seekers an efficient and comprehensive resource on potential funders in the Massachusetts and N.H. region. We have streamlined the updating process to make the production of the Directory more timely, accurate and efficient. If you have not updated your profile for 2007 - it will only take about 10 minutes to complete the update as you will be able to access and edit your organization's existing information.
Remember – your listing in the Directory is FREE
.
Download the step by step instructions from www.agmconnect.org/gmdupdate
The deadline for updates is September 7, 2007.

Expand your knowledge!
AGM has developed a new database of information for our grantmaking Members and nonprofit Partners. The AGM KnowledgeBase contains information on what is physically contained in the Resource Center for Philanthropy (RCP) as wells websites, e-documents, and reports that are deemed relevant for the interests and needs of AGM’s Members and Partners.
You can also use an online request form to ask for reference and research assistance from RCP staff.
Check it out at www.agmconnect.org/kbase. We hope that the AGM KnowledgeBase will become a useful new tool for your organization. Please let us know what you think via email to rcp@agmconnect.org.

AGM's 38th Annual Meeting Connected Old Friends and New Features
The 38th Annual AGM Annual Meeting on June 19 kicked off to a great start with a lively and engaging keynote address by Kathleen Enright, Executive Director of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO). Kathleen presented the results of a GEO study about what changes grantmakers could make to most effectively support their grantees. GEO conducted paired focus groups (one of grantmakers and one of grantees) in five cities, including Boston, to get perspectives from both sides of the fence about what was most important in grantee-grantor relations, and what changes – large and small – would have the biggest impact.
